Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Rumbeke

The drive from Brussels Airport to Rumbeke

Rumbeke lies 124 km (78 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the drive usually takes about 1 h 22 m. The route heads west across Flanders, so it is a long ride but a straightforward one. Traffic around Brussels can slow the first part of the trip, especially in the morning and late afternoon on weekdays. If you have a tight connection, an appointment or a ferry to catch, allow some extra time on top of the standard journey.

Choosing the right vehicle

Rumbeke is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other. For couples, solo travellers or small families, a private taxi for 1-3 or 1-4 passengers is the natural choice. Larger parties can book a private minibus with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats, which suits wedding guests, business delegations and group trips travelling together. With a long ride ahead, pick a vehicle that gives everyone, and all the luggage, enough room.
