Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Roux

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Roux

The route from Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Roux covers 737 km (458 miles), and the typical driving time is 7 h 36 m. That is a long day on the road, so it helps to plan around it. Allow extra time if you travel during morning or evening rush hours around Brussels, on Friday afternoons, or at the start and end of school holidays, when motorways tend to fill up.

On a journey of this length, a private transfer means you are not tied to timetables or connections. Your driver takes you directly, and you can rest, work or simply watch the landscape change. Roux is booked less often than the big city routes, but it is available on request like any other destination. Send us your exact address when you book so the driver can prepare the route in advance.

Meeting Point at Brussels Zaventem Airport

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you have collected your luggage. Just look for your name on the sign.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

The vehicle should match your group size and the amount of luggage you carry. On a trip of more than seven hours, extra space makes a real difference to comfort.

• Private Taxi (1-3 passengers) suits solo travellers, couples and small families with moderate luggage.
• Private Taxi (1-4 passengers) fits a group of four, as long as you travel with sensible luggage.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats (1-8 passengers) gives larger families or friends room to spread out with their bags.
• Private Minibus 16 Seats and 24 Seats work well for events, extended families and mid-sized business groups.
• Private Minibus 32, 40 and 48 Seats are intended for large parties, tour groups and organised delegations.

If you are close to the upper limit of a vehicle, choose the next size up. Seating is then more relaxed and bags are easier to stow.

About Roux as a Destination

Roux is a smaller place in Belgium and not a typical tourist hub, so the transfer is mostly used by people visiting family, friends or a specific address. We therefore recommend giving the driver the full street address and a contact phone number when you book. On arrival you are taken to your door rather than to a central drop-off point. Because the drive is long, plan to eat before departure or bring water and a snack for the road.
