Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Rouvroy

The drive from Brussels Airport to Rouvroy

Rouvroy lies 196 km (122 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the journey usually takes around 2 h 3 m. The route heads south across the country, so it is a proper long-distance transfer rather than a quick hop. This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other. Traffic around Brussels can add time at rush hour, and winter weather in the southern Ardennes region can slow the final stretch, so allow some buffer if you have a connection or appointment to meet.

Which vehicle suits your group

Smaller parties can choose between a private taxi for 1-3 passengers or one for 1-4 passengers. The second is the better pick if you are travelling with four people and a fair amount of luggage. For larger groups there are private minibuses with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. These suit family gatherings, wedding parties, school trips and company outings heading to the area together. On a drive of about two hours, having enough room for people and bags makes a real difference to comfort, so choose the size by luggage as well as headcount.

About Rouvroy

Rouvroy is a small village in the Gaume region, in the far south of Belgium close to the French border. The area is known for its quiet countryside, gentle farmland and wooded hills, and it is a calm base for walking, cycling and visiting nearby small towns. Do not expect big-city facilities on arrival. It is best to have your exact address ready for the driver, as rural roads here can be hard to navigate without it.
