Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Rivage

The Drive from BRU to Rivage

The transfer from Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Rivage covers 621 km (386 miles), with a typical driving time of 6 h 18 m. This is a long road trip rather than a short hop, so it helps to plan your day around it. Allow extra time if you travel during the morning or evening rush around Brussels, on busy holiday weekends or in wintry weather, as any of these can push the journey beyond the typical figure. On a drive of this length a short rest stop is common, so tell your driver if you would like one.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

Smaller groups are well served by a private taxi. There is a version for 1-3 passengers and one for 1-4 passengers, and the larger one gives a little more room for luggage and legroom over several hours on the road. Larger parties can choose a private minibus:

• 8 seats for up to 8 passengers
• 16 seats for up to 16 passengers
• 24 seats for up to 24 passengers
• 32 seats for up to 32 passengers
• 40 seats for up to 40 passengers
• 48 seats for up to 48 passengers

Pick a size based on the number of people and the amount of luggage you bring. On a journey of more than six hours, a little spare space makes the ride more comfortable for everyone.

About Rivage

Rivage is a small destination in Belgium and not one of the routes booked most often, but the transfer is available on request like any other. Because it is a smaller place, please have the exact address of your final stop ready when you book, so the driver can plan the last part of the route and take you right to the door.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits for you at Java Coffee House inside Brussels Zaventem Airport, holding a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you have collected your luggage, so you can meet up without searching the terminal.
