Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Riksingen

The drive from Brussels Airport to Riksingen

The route covers 88 km (55 miles) and typically takes 1 h 1 m by road. That is a comfortable single-leg journey, and a private transfer means you go straight from the terminal to your door without changing vehicles or carrying luggage across stations. Riksingen is booked less often than the big city routes, but it is available on request like any other destination. Belgian motorways around Brussels can slow down noticeably at morning and late-afternoon rush hours, so if you have a fixed appointment on arrival, allow some extra time on top of the standard estimate.

Which vehicle suits your group

For solo travellers, couples and small families, a Private Taxi is the simplest option, available for 1-3 or 1-4 passengers. If you travel with more luggage or need that fourth seat, choose the 1-4 version.

Larger parties are covered by the minibus range:

• Private Minibus 8 Seats for up to 8 passengers, suited to extended families or small business groups
• Private Minibus 16 Seats for up to 16 passengers
• Private Minibus 24, 32, 40 and 48 Seats for wedding parties, club trips, company events and other large groups

When you book, count everyone in your party, including children, and think about how many large suitcases you are bringing. Picking the next size up is better than a tight fit after a long flight.

About Riksingen

Riksingen is a small place in Belgium, and it is not a major tourist hub. Visitors usually come to see family, attend a local event or reach a quiet rural base outside the larger cities. Because smaller addresses can be hard to find, it helps to have the full street name and house number ready when you book, so the driver can take you directly to the right door.

Meeting point at Brussels Airport

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage, so you can meet up without searching the terminal.
