Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Rijmenam

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage, so you can meet without searching the arrivals hall.

The Drive to Rijmenam

The route covers 24 km (15 miles) and typically takes 27 minutes. Rijmenam is not one of our most frequently booked destinations, but the journey itself is short and simple. Morning and late-afternoon rush hours around Brussels and Mechelen can slow traffic, so allow extra time if you have a fixed appointment or a connection to make.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

• Private Taxi (1-3 or 1-4 passengers): suits solo travellers, couples, and small families with standard luggage.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats: a good choice for larger families or colleagues travelling with extra bags.
• Private Minibus 16 and 24 Seats: for team trips, wedding guests, and mid-sized groups.
• Private Minibus 32, 40 and 48 Seats: for big delegations, events, and tour groups who want to arrive together.

About Rijmenam

Rijmenam is a quiet village in the municipality of Bonheiden, in the province of Antwerp, close to Mechelen. It is a residential, green area rather than a major tourist destination, so most visitors come to see family, attend local events, or do business in the surrounding region. Please have the full street address ready when you book, so the driver can take you straight to your door.

Places to Stay Nearby

Rijmenam is small, and I cannot name hotels there with confidence. The nearest larger town is Mechelen, where you will find Martin's Patershof, a boutique hotel in a former church, and the Novotel Mechelen Centrum. Both are in the city centre, which makes them handy for sightseeing and for onward train connections. Your driver can take you directly to either address.
