Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Riemst

The drive from Brussels Airport to Riemst

Riemst lies 105 km (66 miles) east of Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the drive normally takes about 1 h 6 m. The route heads east through Flanders towards the province of Limburg, so most of the journey is on motorway. This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other. Allow extra time during the morning and late-afternoon rush hours around Brussels and Leuven, and in bad weather, as these are the stretches where delays most often build up.

Choosing the right vehicle

Couples and small families fit comfortably in a private taxi for 1-3 or 1-4 passengers. For larger parties, minibuses are available with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. They suit wedding guests, sports teams, company groups and family gatherings travelling together with their luggage. Pick the vehicle by the number of passengers and the amount of luggage, so nobody has to squeeze in after a long flight.
