Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Ressegem

The drive from Zaventem to Ressegem

Ressegem lies 50 km (31 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the drive typically takes about 39 minutes. The route leaves the airport area and crosses the Brussels region before continuing west into East Flanders. Because the journey passes around a major capital, traffic matters more than distance. Morning and late-afternoon rush hours can add noticeable time, as can bad weather or roadworks. If you have a fixed appointment or a connecting journey at the other end, build in a comfortable buffer.

This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other transfer, and your driver will be assigned for your specific journey.

Choosing the right vehicle

Smaller groups are well served by a private taxi. There are two options: one for 1-3 passengers and one for 1-4 passengers. The 1-4 option is the better choice when you travel with a fourth person or carry extra luggage.

Larger parties can choose from a range of private minibuses:

• 8 seats: families or small groups with several suitcases
• 16 seats: extended families, teams or business groups
• 24 and 32 seats: wedding parties, clubs and larger delegations
• 40 and 48 seats: big groups travelling together, such as event guests or tour parties

Pick a vehicle by the number of passengers and the amount of luggage, not only by headcount.
