Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Residence Agenda, Brussels

The drive from Zaventem to Residence Agenda

The transfer covers 16 km (10 miles) and normally takes around 23 minutes. The route runs from the airport into the Brussels urban area, so the time on the road depends mostly on traffic. Morning and late-afternoon rush hours on the approach roads into the city can add a noticeable delay. Allow extra time if you have a fixed appointment or a connection to catch after arrival, and the same applies in reverse when you head back to the airport for a departure.

This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request just like any other. Your driver knows the way into the city and will take the most sensible road for the traffic at the time.

Choosing the right vehicle

For solo travellers and couples, a private taxi for 1-3 passengers is usually enough. If you are four people, there is a taxi for 1-4 passengers, though with large suitcases it helps to think about luggage space as well as seats.

Larger groups can book a private minibus. The 8-seat minibus suits a family or a small team with luggage. For conference parties, school trips or tour groups, minibuses are available with 16, 24, 32, 40, 48, 56 or 64 seats, so everyone can travel together in a single vehicle.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage, so you can go there directly after baggage reclaim.

Residence Agenda and places to stay in Brussels

Residence Agenda is an address in Brussels, the Belgian capital and the seat of major European institutions. This makes the city busy with business travellers and visitors throughout the year. Check your booking confirmation for the exact entrance and give the driver the full address, so the drop-off goes smoothly.

If you are still deciding where to stay in the city, a few long-established names are worth knowing:

• Hotel Amigo, a well-known hotel close to the Grand Place
• Hotel Metropole, a historic hotel on Place de Brouckère, open since the 19th century
• Le Plaza Brussels, a classic hotel near the Botanique and the city centre

All three can be reached by private transfer from the airport in the same way as Residence Agenda.
