Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Recht

The drive from Brussels Airport to Recht

Recht is 155 km (97 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the journey typically takes 1 h 38 m by road. The route leads east across Belgium toward the German-speaking part of the country, so this is a proper cross-country transfer rather than a short hop. Allow extra time if you travel during the weekday morning or evening rush around Brussels, and in winter, when conditions in the Ardennes region can be slower than on the main roads. This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request just like any other.

Choosing the right vehicle

For solo travellers, couples and small families, a private taxi is the natural choice. It is offered for 1-3 passengers or for 1-4 passengers, and the larger option gives more comfort if you are travelling with several suitcases. Bigger parties are covered by the minibus range:

• Minibus 8 Seats: 1-8 passengers, suitable for extended families or friends travelling together
• Minibus 16 and 24 Seats: 1-16 and 1-24 passengers, suitable for clubs, wedding guests or small tour groups
• Minibus 32, 40 and 48 Seats: 1-32, 1-40 and 1-48 passengers, suitable for large groups, school trips or company events

Choose according to both the number of people and the amount of luggage, since a 155 km drive is more pleasant with some spare space on board.
