Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Ramelot

The drive from Brussels Airport to Ramelot

The transfer covers 97 km (60 miles) and typically takes 1 h 14 m by road. That is a fair stretch for a single ride, so a private transfer saves you from planning train and bus connections with luggage. Ramelot is not a frequently booked destination, but the trip is available on request like any other route from the airport.

Journey times are a typical figure, not a guarantee. Brussels traffic is the main variable, especially on weekday mornings and late afternoons, and bad weather can slow the roads as well. If you have a tight appointment or a connection at the other end, add a comfortable buffer to the estimate.

Choosing the right vehicle

For couples, small families or solo travellers, a private taxi is the simplest choice. There is a taxi for 1-3 passengers and one for 1-4 passengers. If you travel with several suitcases, pick the larger of the two so that everyone and everything fits easily.

Larger parties are covered by private minibuses:

• 8 seats for 1-8 passengers, suitable for extended families or small groups
• 16 seats for 1-16 passengers
• 24 seats for 1-24 passengers
• 32, 40 and 48 seats for coaches-sized groups such as wedding parties, clubs or company outings

Pick the size by headcount and luggage, not headcount alone. A minibus with a few spare seats gives bags somewhere to go.

About Ramelot

Ramelot is a small place in the Belgian countryside, so expect a quiet, rural setting rather than a busy town centre. Because services are limited in villages of this kind, it helps to have your exact address ready when you book. This lets the driver go directly to your door at the end of the journey.

Meeting point at Brussels Airport

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House holding a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage.
