Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Purnode

The drive from Brussels Airport to Purnode

Purnode lies 88 km (55 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the typical driving time is 1 h 0 m. This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other, so your driver is arranged specifically for your arrival. The journey runs from the Brussels area towards the south of the country. Traffic around Brussels at the morning and evening rush hours can slow the first part of the trip. Heavy rain or winter conditions can add time as well. If you have a tight connection or an appointment on arrival, build in some extra margin.

Which vehicle suits your group

For solo travellers, couples and small families, a private taxi is the simplest choice. It is available for 1-3 or 1-4 passengers, so check that your luggage fits too. Larger parties can book a private minibus with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. An 8-seat minibus suits two families travelling together or a group with a lot of baggage. The larger minibuses are better for weddings, company groups, sports teams and organised tours. Everyone then travels in one vehicle and arrives together, instead of splitting across several cars.

About Purnode

Purnode is a small village in the municipality of Yvoir, in the province of Namur, in the Meuse valley of Wallonia. It is a quiet, rural setting rather than a busy tourist centre. Most visitors come to see family or friends, for a stay in the Meuse valley, or for an appointment in the surrounding area. Please have the full street address ready when you book. Small villages can be hard to find without one, and it helps your driver take you right to the door.
