Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Pietrebais

The drive from BRU to Pietrebais

Pietrebais lies about 40 km (25 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the drive typically takes around 35 minutes. The route leaves the airport area and continues south-east towards the Walloon Brabant countryside. This is an occasionally booked route, so a private transfer is often the simplest way to reach a village that is not on the main airport corridors. Morning and late-afternoon traffic around Brussels can slow the first part of the trip, so allow some extra time if you have a tight appointment or a connection to make.

Choosing the right vehicle

Smaller groups are well served by a private taxi: one version seats 1-3 passengers and another seats 1-4. For families with several suitcases or mixed-size groups, a private minibus with 8 seats gives more room. Larger parties such as wedding guests, business delegations or sports teams can choose a minibus with 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. Pick the vehicle by passenger count and luggage, not passenger count alone.

Pietrebais as a destination

Pietrebais is a small village in the French-speaking province of Walloon Brabant, part of the municipality of Incourt. The surroundings are rural, with farmland and quiet roads, a clear contrast to the busy airport you are leaving. Have the full street address ready for your driver, as small villages often have house numbers and lanes that are hard to find on a map.

Meeting point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you collect your luggage, so you can go straight there once you leave the baggage hall.
