Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Philippeville

The drive to Philippeville

The transfer from Brussels Zaventem Airport to Philippeville covers 100 km (62 miles) and typically takes 1 h 18 m. This is an occasionally booked route, so your driver will plan the journey around your arrival time. Allow extra time if you travel during the morning or evening rush hour, when traffic around Brussels slows down. Bad weather can also add minutes, especially in winter.

Choosing the right vehicle

For couples, solo travellers and small families, a private taxi is the simplest option, with space for up to 3 or up to 4 passengers. Larger parties can book a private minibus with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. This works well for family gatherings, wedding guests, school trips or company groups travelling together. If you have a lot of luggage, choose the next size up so everyone rides comfortably.

About Philippeville

Philippeville is a small town in the province of Namur, in Wallonia, not far from the French border. It was founded in the 16th century as a fortress town and named after King Philip II of Spain. Today it is a quiet base for visiting the green countryside of the Entre-Sambre-et-Meuse region. A private transfer is a practical way to get there, as it takes you from the arrivals hall to your door.
