Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Peutie

The Drive from BRU to Peutie

Peutie lies only 9 km (6 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the typical driving time is about 11 minutes. That makes it one of the shorter transfers you can book from BRU. It is booked less often than some other routes, but it is available on request like any other. The journey is quick in normal traffic. If you travel during the morning or evening rush hour, it is sensible to allow some extra time, especially when you have a tight connection or an appointment waiting on arrival.

Which Vehicle Suits Your Group

For solo travellers, couples and small families, a private taxi is the simplest choice. It comes in a version for 1-3 passengers and one for 1-4 passengers, so pick the one that matches your group and luggage. Larger parties can choose a private minibus with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. These suit business groups, wedding parties, school trips and teams travelling together, and everyone arrives in Peutie in one vehicle instead of several separate cars.

Peutie as a Destination

Peutie is a small village in Flemish Brabant, belonging to the municipality of Vilvoorde. It is a quiet, mostly residential place, but its location right next to the airport makes it practical for early departures and late arrivals. Visitors usually come for local addresses, business appointments or to stay with family and friends. Brussels city centre is also within easy reach from here.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you have collected your luggage, so you can meet your driver without a long search through the terminal.
