Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Peer

The drive from Brussels Airport to Peer

Peer lies 94 km (59 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the drive normally takes around 1 h 8 m. You travel from the Brussels area towards the east of Flanders and into the province of Limburg, so the journey is a straightforward road trip with no need to cross the city centre. Allow extra time if you land during weekday rush hours, when traffic around the Brussels ring and the main motorways can slow things down. Peer is not one of our most frequently booked destinations, but the transfer is available on request just like any other route, and your driver tracks your arrival so you do not have to rush.

Choosing the right vehicle

For individual travellers, couples and small families, a private taxi for up to 3 or up to 4 passengers is the simplest option and leaves room for luggage. Groups travelling together can book a private minibus with 8 or 16 seats, which keeps everyone in one vehicle instead of splitting into several cars. For larger parties such as wedding guests, sports teams, company delegations or school trips, minibuses with 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats are available. When you book, count your suitcases as well as your passengers so the vehicle you select has enough space for everything.

Peer as a destination

Peer is a town in the Belgian province of Limburg, in the Kempen region not far from the Dutch border. The surrounding area is mostly flat and green, which makes it popular with people who like quiet countryside, walking and cycling. If you are heading to a private address, a business appointment or a local event, give the driver the exact street address in advance so the drop-off goes smoothly.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House in Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU), holding a personalised name sign. The location is easy to find once you have collected your luggage, so you can meet your driver without searching around the terminal.
