Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Parike

The drive from Brussels Airport to Parike

Parike lies 65 km (40 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the typical driving time is 57 minutes. The route leads you away from the airport area and across Flanders towards the south-west of Brussels, so the final stretch runs through quieter countryside rather than motorway traffic. It is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other transfer. Allow extra time if you travel during the weekday morning or late afternoon rush, when the roads around Brussels are busiest.

Choosing the right vehicle

Smaller parties are well served by a private taxi, with one option for up to 3 passengers and another for up to 4. Families with several suitcases or small groups travelling together may prefer the extra space of the 8-seat minibus. For larger parties such as wedding guests, school trips or company teams, minibuses are available with 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. Pick the size according to the number of travellers and the amount of luggage, and everyone arrives together in one vehicle.

Parike as a destination

Parike is a small village in the municipality of Brakel, in the Flemish Ardennes of East Flanders. The area is rural and hilly, with farmland, woods and quiet lanes, and it is popular with walkers and cyclists. Visitors usually come for a peaceful stay or to see family and friends, so a door-to-door transfer is often simpler than piecing together local connections for the last few kilometres.
