Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Papegem

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Papegem

The route covers 48 km (30 miles) and usually takes around 36 minutes by road. That is a comfortable transfer length, but it is a figure for normal traffic. Weekday mornings and late afternoons around the Brussels ring road are busier, and rain or roadworks can slow things down as well. If you have a tight connection or an appointment shortly after landing, it is sensible to build in some extra time.

Papegem is not one of our most frequently booked destinations, but the transfer is available on request just like any other route. Your driver takes you directly from the airport to your address, so you do not need to plan around timetables or carry luggage between connections.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage, so you can meet up without searching the terminal.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

The vehicle should match your group size and the amount of luggage you carry. These options are available for this route:

• Private Taxi (1-3 passengers) or Private Taxi (1-4 passengers) for solo travellers, couples, families and small groups of colleagues.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats for larger families or groups with extra suitcases.
• Private Minibus 16 Seats and 24 Seats for team trips, wedding parties or medium-sized tour groups.
• Private Minibus 32, 40 and 48 Seats for large groups, company events or coach-style arrivals that need to travel together.

If you are travelling near the upper limit of a vehicle, or with oversized luggage such as sports equipment, choosing the next size up gives everyone more space for the 36-minute ride.

About Papegem as a Destination

Papegem is a small place in Belgium, and not a major tourist centre. For that reason a door-to-door transfer is often the simplest way to arrive, since a private vehicle can bring you straight to your address instead of leaving you to organise a last leg from a distant station. Please have the full address ready when you book so the driver can plan the final part of the route precisely. If you are visiting friends, family or a business contact, sharing the driver's details with them can also make the arrival smoother.
