Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Palenge

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Palenge

Palenge lies 116 km (73 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the typical driving time is 1 h 24 m. That is a proper road journey rather than a short hop, so it helps to plan around it. Allow extra time if you travel during the weekday morning or late-afternoon rush, when the roads around Brussels slow down noticeably, or if the weather is poor.

This route is booked less often than the airport's busiest destinations, but it is available on request like any other. Your driver is assigned to your booking alone, so you travel straight to your address without stops for other passengers.

Meeting Point at Brussels Zaventem

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The location is easy to find after you have collected your luggage.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

For a 1 h 24 m ride, legroom and luggage space matter more than on a short city transfer. The options are:

• Private Taxi (1-3 passengers) suits solo travellers, couples and small families with standard luggage.
• Private Taxi (1-4 passengers) suits four people with a moderate amount of luggage.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats is the right step up for larger families or groups with extra bags.
• Private Minibus 16, 24, 32, 40 and 48 Seats cover tour groups, school trips, wedding parties, company teams and other large parties of up to 48 passengers.

If you are close to the limit of a vehicle, choose the next size up, especially when travelling with suitcases, sports equipment or prams.

About Palenge as a Destination

Palenge is a small place in Belgium, and it is not one of the country's main tourist hubs. For that reason, it is worth having the exact address of your final stop ready, ideally with a postcode, so the driver can set the route in advance. If you are unsure about access or parking at your destination, mention it in your booking so the pickup or drop-off goes smoothly.
