Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Overmere

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Overmere

Overmere is 53 km (33 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the drive usually takes around 48 minutes. The route heads west across Flanders towards the Ghent and Dendermonde area. Morning and late-afternoon rush hours around Brussels and the ring road can slow things down, so allow some extra time if you have a fixed appointment or a connection to catch. This route is booked less often than the big city transfers, but it is available on request just like any other.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

Smaller parties are well served by a private taxi, with options for up to 3 or up to 4 passengers. If you travel with more people or extra luggage, a private minibus with 8 seats is the next step up. Larger groups such as wedding parties, sports teams or company outings can book minibuses with 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. Pick the size according to both passenger numbers and the amount of luggage, so everyone rides in comfort.
