Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Outrijve

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House in Brussels Zaventem Airport, holding a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage, so you can meet your driver without a long search.

The Drive to Outrijve

Outrijve lies 103 km (65 miles) from the airport, and the trip typically takes 1 h 20 m by road. The route crosses Flanders from east to west, so most of the journey is on motorway. Allow extra time if you travel during the weekday morning or late afternoon rush around Brussels, or if bad weather slows traffic. This route is booked less often than others, but it is available on request like any other transfer, and your driver takes you straight to your door.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

Couples and small families fit a private taxi, with options for 1-3 or 1-4 passengers. For larger parties, a private minibus with 8 seats suits a group of friends or an extended family with luggage. Wedding parties, company outings and tour groups can choose minibuses with 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats, so everyone arrives together in a single vehicle.

About Outrijve

Outrijve is a small village in the municipality of Anzegem in West Flanders. It is a quiet, rural place with the typical Flemish mix of farmland, small lanes and local parish life. Visitors usually come to see family, attend an event or explore the surrounding countryside, not for large-scale sightseeing.

Places to Stay Nearby

Outrijve is small, and I cannot name long-established hotels there with confidence. The nearest larger town with well-known accommodation is Kortrijk, which has these options:

• Hotel Messeyne, a boutique hotel in the city centre
• Parkhotel Kortrijk, a long-standing hotel popular with business and leisure guests

If you book a stay in Kortrijk, tell us the address when you request your transfer so the driver can take you there directly.
