Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Ourt

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Ourt

Ourt lies 150 km (94 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the journey by road typically takes 1 h 36 m. This is a fairly long transfer, so it suits travellers who want to go straight to their final address without changing trains or waiting for connections. The first stretch leads you around the Brussels ring, where traffic can build up at weekday rush hours. If you have a fixed appointment or a check-in deadline in Ourt, it is wise to add a buffer to the stated driving time. Bad weather can also slow the second half of the trip, especially in winter.

This route is booked less often than the big city connections, but it is available on request just like any other. Your driver knows the way and keeps the same private car or minibus for the entire trip, so you can relax after your flight.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

For couples, small families or business travellers, a private taxi is the simplest option. We offer taxis for 1-3 passengers and for 1-4 passengers, so pick the larger one if you are travelling with several suitcases or a child seat.

Bigger groups can book a private minibus. The 8-seat minibus suits a family or a small team, while the 16-seat and 24-seat versions work well for clubs, wedding parties or corporate groups. For larger gatherings there are minibuses with 32, 40 and 48 seats, so everyone can arrive together in one vehicle. With a long drive ahead, a little extra space for luggage and legroom is worth considering.

About Ourt

Ourt is a small place in Belgium, and visitors usually come for a quiet stay in a rural setting rather than for big-city sights. It is a good base for walks, countryside drives and visits to family or friends in the area. Because it is a small village, it helps to have the exact street address or the name of your accommodation at hand when you book, so the driver can take you to the right door.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you have collected your luggage. Once you have met, you walk to the vehicle together and start the drive to Ourt.
