Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Ouren

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Ouren

Ouren lies 186 km (116 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the drive typically takes 2 h 5 m. Most of the journey is spent heading east across Belgium, and the last part runs through quieter, hillier countryside. Allow extra time if you leave during the morning or evening rush around Brussels. In winter, the roads in the eastern part of the country can also slow things down. This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other, so a private car or minibus can be arranged for your arrival time.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

For couples, solo travellers or small families, a Private Taxi is available for 1-3 or 1-4 passengers. The 1-4 option gives a little more room when you travel with several suitcases. Larger parties can choose a private minibus:

• 8 Seats for groups of up to 8
• 16 Seats for groups of up to 16
• 24, 32 and 40 Seats for larger groups, such as clubs, families or tour parties
• 48 Seats for the biggest groups, up to 48 passengers

Since the trip takes about two hours, it is worth choosing a vehicle with some spare space for luggage and legroom rather than the tightest fit.

About Ouren

Ouren is a small village in the German-speaking part of eastern Belgium, set in the valley of the river Our close to the German and Luxembourg borders. It is a peaceful rural spot, known for its green surroundings and its location near the point where three countries meet. It suits walkers and anyone looking for a quiet stay far from the city. As the village is small, it helps to have your exact address or accommodation name ready when you book.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House inside Brussels Zaventem Airport, holding a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you have collected your luggage, so you can meet your driver without any searching around the terminal.
