Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Ossendrecht

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Ossendrecht

The transfer covers 71 km (44 miles) and typically takes about 51 minutes. The route crosses the Belgian-Dutch border, and the stretch around Antwerp is where traffic most often slows down. On weekday mornings and late afternoons it is wise to allow some extra time. This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request just like any other transfer.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you have collected your luggage.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

For solo travellers, couples and small families, a private taxi is the natural choice, with options for up to 3 or up to 4 passengers. If you travel with several suitcases or a slightly larger party, the 4-passenger taxi gives you a little more breathing room.

Bigger groups are covered by private minibuses:

• 8 seats for families or friends travelling together with luggage
• 16 and 24 seats for company teams, sports clubs or extended family gatherings
• 32, 40 and 48 seats for large delegations, school groups or event guests

About Ossendrecht

Ossendrecht is a small village in the province of North Brabant, part of the municipality of Woensdrecht and close to the Belgian border. It has a quiet, residential character, with woodland and heath landscapes nearby, and the larger town of Bergen op Zoom lies a short distance away. Since it is a small place, it is helpful to have the exact street address ready when you book so your driver can take you straight to the door.

Where to Stay Near Ossendrecht

Ossendrecht itself is small, so the better-known accommodations are found in the nearby town of Bergen op Zoom:

• Hotel De Draak, a historic hotel on the Grote Markt in the old town centre
• Van der Valk Hotel Bergen op Zoom, a larger hotel that suits both business travellers and leisure guests

Both are a short drive from Ossendrecht, and your driver can take you directly to either address.
