Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Ossel

The Journey from Brussels Airport to Ossel

The transfer from Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Ossel covers 814 km (506 miles), with a typical driving time of 8 h 21 m. This route is booked less often than the airport's busiest connections, but it is available on request like any other. On a trip of this length, the real arrival time depends on traffic around Brussels, weather and the rest stops that long-distance travel calls for. If you have a connection, an appointment or a check-in time at the other end, build in a comfortable buffer rather than planning to the minute.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

Smaller parties are best served by a private taxi. There are options for 1-3 passengers and for 1-4 passengers, which suits solo travellers, couples and small families with luggage. For larger groups, private minibuses are available with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. Over 8 hours on the road, space matters, so choose the vehicle by passenger count and the amount of luggage, not by the minimum that technically fits. Everyone travels together in one private vehicle, with no shared stops along the way.

Ossel as a Destination

Ossel is a small place, so it is worth having the exact street address and house number ready when you book. A precise address helps the driver plan the final stretch and avoids delays at the end of a long journey. If you are visiting friends, family or a private property, keep a local contact number to hand in case the driver needs help finding the entrance.

Meeting Point at Brussels Airport

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage. Head there after baggage reclaim and look for your name on the sign.
