Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Orbais

The drive from Brussels Airport to Orbais

Orbais lies 44 km (28 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU). The journey usually takes about 33 minutes by road. This is an occasionally booked route, so your driver will be assigned specifically for your arrival rather than drawn from a regular shuttle service.

Travel times can grow during the morning and evening rush hours around Brussels, and in bad weather. If you have a tight onward appointment in Orbais, such as a business meeting or a family event, allow some extra margin on top of the usual driving time. A private transfer goes straight from the airport to your address without stops or changes along the way.

Choosing the right vehicle

The vehicle should match the size of your group and the amount of luggage you carry.

• Private Taxi (1-3 passengers): suits solo travellers, couples and small families.
• Private Taxi (1-4 passengers): gives a little more room for a group of four with luggage.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats (1-8 passengers): works well for larger families or small groups with several suitcases.
• Private Minibus 16, 24, 32, 40 and 48 Seats: available for wedding parties, company groups, sports teams and other bigger gatherings, with capacity for up to 48 passengers.

If your group is close to the limit of a vehicle, choose the next size up so everyone travels comfortably with their bags.
