Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Opheylissem

The drive from Brussels Airport to Opheylissem

Opheylissem lies 45 km (28 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU). With normal traffic the drive takes about 28 minutes. The route heads out of the Brussels area into the countryside of Walloon Brabant, so the journey gets calmer the further you go. Allow extra time if you travel during the weekday morning or evening rush hours, when the roads around Brussels are busiest. This route is booked less often than the big city transfers, but it is available on request like any other, and your driver takes you straight to the address you give.

Choosing the right vehicle

The vehicle you need depends on the size of your group and how much luggage you carry.

• Private Taxi (1-3 passengers) or Private Taxi (1-4 passengers): suitable for solo travellers, couples, small families and business trips.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats: a good fit for larger families or groups with extra bags.
• Private Minibus 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 Seats: for wedding parties, school or sports groups, company outings and other big groups. Everyone travels together in one vehicle.

If you are unsure between two sizes, choose the larger one when you carry bulky luggage such as sports equipment or prams.
