Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Opdorp

The drive from Brussels Airport to Opdorp

Opdorp lies 31 km (19 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the drive typically takes about 31 minutes. The route leaves the airport area and heads north-west across Flanders, so you are on your way quickly with no need to cross central Brussels. This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other transfer.

Traffic around the Brussels ring and the main motorways can build up during weekday morning and late-afternoon rush hours. If you have a fixed appointment, a connecting train or an early check-in in Opdorp, allow some extra time on top of the 31 minutes. Roadworks and bad weather can also slow things down, particularly in winter.

Which vehicle fits your group

The vehicle choice depends mainly on how many people and how much luggage you have.

• Private Taxi (1-3 or 1-4 passengers): suits solo travellers, couples, small families and business travellers with standard luggage.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats: a good fit for larger families or friends travelling with several suitcases.
• Private Minibus 16, 24, 32, 40 and 48 Seats: intended for groups, wedding parties, sports teams and company outings heading to the same address.

If your group sits right at the limit of a vehicle, or you carry bulky items such as sports gear or prams, choose the next size up for more comfort.

About Opdorp

Opdorp is a village in the municipality of Buggenhout, in the province of East Flanders. It is a quiet, largely residential place in a rural part of Flanders, so visitors usually come to see family, attend an event or stay somewhere calmer than the big cities. Give your driver the full street address when you book, because smaller villages can have several streets with similar names in neighbouring places.

Meeting point at Brussels Airport
