Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Oosthoven

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Oosthoven

The route covers 89 km (56 miles), and the typical driving time is 1 h 6 m. That is a fair distance for a transfer, so it suits travellers who want to go straight to their door without changing trains or waiting for connections. Oosthoven is not one of the most frequently booked destinations, but the transfer is available on request just like any other route from the airport.

The time given is a typical figure for normal traffic. Allow extra time if you travel on weekday mornings or late afternoons, when the roads around Brussels tend to be busy. Rain, roadworks and events along the way can also add some minutes. If you have a fixed appointment or a connection to catch at the other end, build in a small buffer.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

Several vehicle types are available, so you can match the transfer to the size of your group and the amount of luggage:

• Private Taxi (1-3 or 1-4 passengers): a good fit for solo travellers, couples, families and small groups with ordinary luggage.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats (1-8 passengers): more space for larger families or friends travelling together with several suitcases.
• Private Minibus 16 and 24 Seats: practical for clubs, wedding parties and business groups.
• Private Minibus 32, 40 and 48 Seats: intended for large tour groups, school trips and company events.

With a bigger group, count both people and bags, since luggage takes up room in any vehicle. If you are unsure which size to pick, choose the next one up for a more relaxed ride.

About Oosthoven

Oosthoven is a small place in Belgium, and visitors usually come to stay with family, attend a private event or enjoy a quiet break away from the larger cities. Expect a calm, local setting rather than a busy tourist centre. Since it is a smaller destination, it helps to keep the exact address handy when you book, so the driver can bring you right to the right street at the end of the ride.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House in Brussels Zaventem Airport, holding a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you have collected your luggage, so you can walk over without any detour.
