Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Oostham

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Oostham

The route from Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Oostham covers 85 km (53 miles), and the typical driving time is 56 minutes. You travel east from the airport into the province of Limburg, so the journey is a straightforward road transfer without any need to cross central Brussels. Oostham is a less frequently booked destination, but the transfer is available on request like any other route.

Traffic is the main variable. Weekday mornings and late afternoons around the Brussels ring and the main motorways can add time, and so can bad weather. If you have a fixed appointment or a connecting journey in Oostham, allow a buffer beyond the standard 56 minutes.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

The vehicle you need depends on how many people and how much luggage are travelling:

• Private Taxi (1-3 passengers) suits solo travellers, couples and small families with standard luggage.
• Private Taxi (1-4 passengers) gives a fourth seat for a slightly larger party.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats is a good fit for groups of up to 8 or for passengers with extra bags.
• Private Minibus 16 and 24 Seats work for family gatherings, wedding guests and business teams.
• Private Minibus 32, 40 and 48 Seats cover larger groups, such as event delegations or coach-style transfers, with up to 48 passengers.

All vehicles are private, so you travel directly to your address in Oostham without sharing the ride with other passengers.

About Oostham

Oostham is a village in the municipality of Ham, in the Flemish province of Limburg. It lies in the Campine (Kempen) region, an area of flat landscape with woodland, farmland and quiet residential streets. It is a calm, rural setting rather than a tourist centre, so most visitors come to see family, to work locally or to stay in the surrounding Limburg countryside. Your driver can take you to your exact address, which is useful in a village where public transport options are limited.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House in Brussels Zaventem Airport with a personalised name sign. The location is easy to find after you have collected your luggage, so you can go straight there and meet your driver without delay.
