Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Olsene

The drive from Brussels Airport to Olsene

Olsene lies 85 km (53 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the drive usually takes about 57 minutes. Most of the journey is on motorway, followed by a short stretch on local roads into the village. Traffic around Brussels can slow things down on weekday mornings and late afternoons, so it is sensible to allow some extra time if you have a fixed appointment or a tight connection. This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other transfer.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House in Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU), holding a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage, so you can go straight there without searching the terminal.

Choosing the right vehicle

The vehicle you need depends on the size of your group and how much luggage you carry:

• Private Taxi (1-3 or 1-4 passengers): suits individual travellers, couples, and small families.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats: a good fit for a larger family or friends travelling with extra bags.
• Private Minibus 16 and 24 Seats: for wedding parties, sports teams, and mid-sized groups.
• Private Minibus 32, 40 and 48 Seats: for large groups, company outings, and event guests arriving together.

If your party is close to a vehicle's passenger limit and you have a lot of luggage, choosing the next size up gives everyone more room.

About Olsene

Olsene is a small village in the Flemish countryside of East Flanders, part of the municipality of Zulte. It is a quiet, rural setting with farmland and a few local roads, rather than a busy tourist centre. Because the village is small, it helps to have the full street address ready for your driver, so the final stretch of the trip goes smoothly.
