Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Olmen

The drive from Brussels Airport to Olmen

Olmen lies 89 km (56 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport. The drive usually takes about 1 h 1 m. This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other, so a private car or minibus can be arranged for your arrival time. Allow extra time on weekday mornings and late afternoons, when traffic around Brussels is heaviest, and in poor weather. If you have a tight onward commitment in Olmen, such as a meeting or a check-in deadline, build in a small buffer.

Choosing the right vehicle

Smaller parties are well served by a private taxi. There is a version for 1-3 passengers and one for 1-4 passengers, which gives a little more room for luggage and a fourth traveller. Larger families and groups can use the 8-seat minibus. For bigger parties, minibuses with 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats are available. These suit wedding guests, sports teams, school trips and company groups travelling together. Choose a vehicle by passenger count and luggage, and book the larger size if you are unsure.
