Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Noordwijk

The drive from Brussels Airport to Noordwijk

The route covers 189 km (118 miles) and typically takes 2 h 7 m. It heads north from Zaventem, crosses the border into the Netherlands and finishes on the South Holland coast. Noordwijk is a less frequently booked destination, so transfers are arranged on request. Allow extra time if you travel during the morning or evening rush hour, as the motorways around the big Dutch and Belgian cities can slow down. Good weather on a summer weekend can also mean more traffic towards the coast.

Which vehicle suits your group

For solo travellers, couples and small families, a private taxi is the simplest option. Choose the version for 1-3 passengers or the one for 1-4 passengers, depending on how many of you there are and how much luggage you carry. Larger parties can book a private minibus with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats, which suits families travelling together, conference delegates, sports teams or tour groups. Everyone travels in one vehicle, so nobody has to split up on a two-hour journey.

Noordwijk as a destination

Noordwijk is a seaside town on the North Sea coast of South Holland, known for its wide sandy beach and its promenade. It lies in the bulb-growing region, and the European Space Agency's technical centre ESTEC is based here, so business visitors arrive as well as holidaymakers. Spring is a popular time, when the surrounding area is known for its flower fields.
