Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Nives

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Nives

Nives lies 164 km (102 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the journey usually takes about 1 h 40 m. This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other. The drive leads south-east across Belgium towards the Ardennes, and the final stretch runs on smaller regional roads rather than motorway.

Brussels' morning and evening rush hours can slow the first part of the trip. Winter weather in the Ardennes can also lengthen the last section. If you have a tight connection or an appointment on arrival, it is sensible to add a buffer to the standard 1 h 40 m.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

For solo travellers, couples and small families, a Private Taxi is the simplest choice. It is available for 1-3 or 1-4 passengers, and the larger version gives a little more room for luggage when four people travel together.

Larger parties can choose from a range of private minibuses:

• Minibus 8 Seats: small groups or families with plenty of bags
• Minibus 16 Seats: extended families, teams or business groups
• Minibus 24, 32, 40 and 48 Seats: larger parties such as school trips, clubs, wedding guests or event delegations

Choose the vehicle by passenger count and luggage, not by passenger count alone. A group that is near the upper limit of a vehicle will be more comfortable in the next size up.

About Nives

Nives is a small village in the Ardennes region of southern Belgium. It is a quiet rural spot surrounded by woods, meadows and farmland. Visitors tend to come for walking, cycling and a break from the city, or to see family and friends in the area. The village is small, so it is worth keeping the exact address to hand when you book. That way your driver can take you right to the door.
