Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Ninove

The drive to Ninove

The route from Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Ninove covers 47 km (30 miles) and typically takes around 38 minutes. You travel from the Flemish Brabant side of Brussels to the west, into East Flanders. Ninove is an occasionally booked destination, so your driver will plan the route specifically for your trip.

When to allow extra time

The 38 minutes is a typical figure, not a guarantee. Weekday morning and late afternoon traffic around Brussels can slow the first part of the journey. If you have a tight appointment in Ninove, build in a buffer. The same applies in bad weather or during roadworks.

Vehicles for your group

Smaller parties can choose a private taxi for 1-3 or 1-4 passengers. Larger groups, such as families with a lot of luggage, wedding guests or business delegations, can book a private minibus with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. Choose a vehicle by the number of passengers plus the amount of luggage, and go one size up if you are unsure.

Ninove in brief

Ninove is a town in East Flanders on the Dender river, west of Brussels. It is known for its historic abbey and is a calm, local base rather than a major tourist centre. It suits visitors going to family, business or events in the Dender region.
