Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Nieuwerkerken

The drive from BRU to Nieuwerkerken

The journey covers 71 km (45 miles) and typically takes about 52 minutes. This is an occasionally booked route, so your driver will be set up for a point-to-point trip rather than a busy shuttle run. Allow extra time during weekday morning and late-afternoon traffic around Brussels and on the main motorways, and in bad weather, as these can lengthen the trip beyond the usual driving time.

Choosing the right vehicle

Smaller parties can travel in a private taxi, available for 1-3 or 1-4 passengers. Families with several suitcases will usually be more comfortable in the four-passenger option. For bigger groups there are private minibuses with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. They suit wedding parties, sports teams, company groups and family gatherings, and everyone arrives together in a single vehicle. Pick the size by passenger count and luggage, not just seats.

About Nieuwerkerken

Nieuwerkerken is a small Belgian village, and several Belgian places share the name. Check the exact address or postcode when you book so the driver goes to the right one. Once you leave the motorway, expect quiet local roads and residential streets rather than a busy town centre.

Planning your arrival

Tell us the number of passengers and bags when you book so the vehicle matches your group. If you are travelling to a private address, keep the street name and house number handy for the driver.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House in Brussels Zaventem Airport, holding a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage, so you can go straight there and meet your driver.
