Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Nieuwenrode

The Drive from BRU to Nieuwenrode

Nieuwenrode lies 18 km (11 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the drive normally takes about 25 minutes. This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other. The trip is short and mostly on main roads, so the main variable is traffic. Allow extra time on weekday mornings and late afternoons, when roads around Brussels get busy. If you have a tight connection or an early appointment, build in a small buffer.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

Couples, solo travellers and small families usually fit in a Private Taxi, available for 1-3 or 1-4 passengers. Choose the larger option if you are travelling with several suitcases or a child seat. For larger parties, the Private Minibus comes with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. That covers everything from a family reunion to a wedding party or a company group heading to the same address. Pick the size that matches your group plus luggage, so nobody has to travel cramped.

About Nieuwenrode

Nieuwenrode is a small village in Flemish Brabant, part of the municipality of Kapelle-op-den-Bos. It is a quiet, rural setting, known for its castle and the surrounding countryside. Because it is a village, it helps to have the full street address or a house name ready for your driver, especially if your destination is a private home or a venue off the main road.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage. Look for the sign with your name and the driver will take it from there.
