Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Neerrepen

The drive from Brussels Airport to Neerrepen

Neerrepen lies 89 km (55 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the drive typically takes 1 h 1 m. The route heads east from the airport area across Belgium towards Limburg, so a private car is the simplest way to reach a village that is not on the main rail corridors. This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other transfer.

Morning and late-afternoon traffic around Brussels and on the ring can stretch the journey, so allow some extra time if you have a fixed appointment, a wedding or a meeting at the other end. Bad weather can have the same effect in winter.

Meeting Point at Brussels Airport

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you have collected your luggage, so you can go straight there and begin your journey without searching the terminal.

Choosing the right vehicle

The vehicle should match the size of your group and the amount of luggage you carry:

• Private Taxi (1-3 or 1-4 passengers): suits individual travellers, couples and small families.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats: a good fit for a larger family or a group with extra bags.
• Private Minibus 16, 24 and 32 Seats: for business delegations, sports teams and event parties.
• Private Minibus 40 and 48 Seats: for large groups travelling together, such as coach-style group arrivals.

If you are close to the limit of a vehicle and have bulky luggage, choosing the next size up gives everyone more room on a trip of about an hour.
