Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Nazareth

The drive from Brussels Airport to Nazareth

The route covers 72 km (45 miles) and normally takes about 50 minutes. It runs from Zaventem westwards into East Flanders. Nazareth is booked only occasionally, so your driver will plan the route for your specific trip. On weekday mornings and late afternoons traffic around Brussels and Ghent can be heavy. If you have a fixed appointment or a connection, add a buffer to the journey time.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you have collected your luggage.

Choosing the right vehicle

Small groups are well served by a private taxi, available for 1-3 or 1-4 passengers. The 1-4 option leaves more room for suitcases when four people travel together. Larger parties can book a private minibus with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. This suits families with lots of luggage, wedding parties, sports teams and company groups. Pick the size by the number of people and bags rather than by seats alone.

Nazareth as a destination

Nazareth is a small municipality in East Flanders, in the Dutch-speaking part of Belgium. It is a quiet, mostly residential area with a rural feel. Many visitors come for family occasions, local business or to use it as a calm base within reach of Ghent. Give your driver the full street address when booking, since many addresses lie off the main roads.

Where to stay near Nazareth

Nazareth itself has few well-known hotels, so most visitors choose accommodation in nearby Ghent. Established options there include:

• Sofitel Gent Belfry & Spa, in the historic centre next to the Belfry
• NH Gent Belfort, a large hotel close to the old town
• Hotel Harmony, a boutique hotel on the Dijver canal

Tell your driver which hotel or address you are going to, and the transfer will take you directly to the door.
