Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Moortsele

Meeting Point at Brussels Zaventem Airport

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House holding a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage, so you can go straight there without searching the terminal.

The Drive from BRU to Moortsele

The route covers 58 km (36 miles) and typically takes around 44 minutes. It is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other, and your driver will take the most sensible road for the time of day. Allow extra time if you travel during weekday rush hours, when traffic around Brussels and on the main motorways towards East Flanders can slow things down. Bad weather can also add a few minutes, so it is wise not to schedule a tight appointment right after landing.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

Smaller parties are well served by a private taxi, with options for 1-3 or 1-4 passengers. The 1-4 option leaves a little more room for a family or a group travelling with several suitcases. For bigger groups, such as wedding guests, business delegations or extended families, private minibuses are available in several sizes:

• 8 seats: 1-8 passengers
• 16 seats: 1-16 passengers
• 24 seats: 1-24 passengers
• 32 seats: 1-32 passengers
• 40 seats: 1-40 passengers
• 48 seats: 1-48 passengers

If your group is close to the limit of a vehicle or you carry a lot of luggage, choosing the next size up gives everyone more comfort.
