Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Montegnée

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Montegnée

The transfer covers 88 km (55 miles) and normally takes around 55 minutes. Montegnée lies in the Liège area, so the route heads east across Belgium, away from the capital region. This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other. Weekday rush hours around Brussels can slow the first part of the journey, as can roadworks and bad weather. If you have a tight connection or an appointment on arrival, build in some extra time.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

Small parties are best served by a private taxi, with options for 1-3 passengers or 1-4 passengers. Larger groups can choose a private minibus. The available sizes are:

• 8 seats for families or small teams with extra luggage
• 16 seats for mid-sized groups
• 24 and 32 seats for larger delegations or tour groups
• 40 and 48 seats for big parties travelling together

If you are close to the limit of a vehicle and carry a lot of luggage, choose the next size up so everyone travels comfortably.

Montegnée as a Destination

Montegnée is a district of Saint-Nicolas, in the province of Liège, and sits close to the city of Liège itself. It is a residential and former industrial area, so most visitors come for business, family visits or as a base for exploring the Liège region. A door-to-door transfer is practical here, since you are taken straight to your address without having to plan onward connections.
