Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Moere

The drive from Brussels Airport to Moere

Moere lies 128 km (80 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the drive typically takes 1 h 22 m. The route heads west across Flanders towards the coast. Moere is a less frequently booked destination, but transfers there are available on request like any other. Traffic around Brussels is heaviest on weekday mornings and late afternoons, so allow some extra time if you have a connection, an appointment or a check-in slot to meet.

Which vehicle suits your group

For couples, solo travellers and small families, a Private Taxi is available for 1-3 or 1-4 passengers. Larger parties can choose a Private Minibus with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. This suits wedding parties, family gatherings, school or sports groups and company outings. Pick a vehicle by passenger count and by how much luggage you carry, since a full group with large cases needs more room than the seat count suggests.

Moere and where to stay nearby

Moere is a small, quiet village in the municipality of Gistel in West Flanders. It is a rural area close to the Belgian coast, so you can expect countryside rather than a busy town centre. I cannot name well-known, long-established hotels in Moere itself with confidence. The nearest larger town with a good choice of accommodation is Ostend, on the coast. Two familiar names there are:

• Thermae Palace Hotel, a historic seafront hotel in Ostend
• Andromeda Hotel, a long-standing hotel on the Ostend seafront

Tell us your exact destination address when you book, so the driver can plan the final stretch to Moere or Ostend.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House in Brussels Zaventem Airport, holding a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage.
