Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Middelburg

The drive from Brussels Airport to Middelburg

The route covers 105 km (66 miles) and typically takes 1 h 14 m. Middelburg is not a commonly booked destination, but the transfer is available on request just like any other. The journey runs from Zaventem through the Flemish motorway network towards the northwest of the country, close to the Dutch border. Allow extra time if you travel during the morning or evening rush around Brussels, or when there is heavy traffic on the ring road. Your driver follows the traffic situation and picks the most sensible route on the day.

Choosing the right vehicle

Solo travellers, couples and small families are well served by a private taxi, with options for up to 3 or up to 4 passengers. If you have several suitcases, the 4-passenger taxi gives a little more flexibility for how you arrange your luggage. Larger parties can choose a private minibus with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats, so a family gathering, a wedding party or a company group can travel together in one vehicle instead of splitting up. Pick the size according to both the number of people and the amount of luggage.
