Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Metzert

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Metzert

The transfer covers 192 km (120 miles) and typically takes 2 h 1 m. That is a long ride after a flight, so it helps to have a driver waiting rather than working out onward connections with luggage. Metzert is a less frequently booked destination, but the transfer is available on request just like any other route.

Allow extra time if you travel during the morning or evening rush around Brussels, or in bad weather. The first stretch out of the Brussels region is usually the slowest part of the journey. Your driver monitors conditions and chooses the sensible route on the day.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

The vehicle should match your group and your luggage:

• Private Taxi (1-3 passengers) suits solo travellers, couples and small families with standard luggage.
• Private Taxi (1-4 passengers) gives a little more flexibility for a group of four.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats works well for larger families or friends travelling with extra bags.
• Private Minibus 16 Seats and 24 Seats fit business groups, wedding parties and club trips.
• Private Minibus 32, 40 and 48 Seats cover large delegations, coach-style group travel and events.

If you are unsure, choose the next size up. On a drive of about two hours, extra legroom and luggage space are worth having.

About Metzert

Metzert is a small place in southern Belgium, in the Arlon area near the Luxembourg border. It is a quiet, rural setting rather than a major tourist destination, so a door-to-door private transfer is often the most practical way to reach it from the airport. Please give your driver the full street address when you book so the drop-off is exact.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits for you at Java Coffee House in Brussels Zaventem Airport, holding a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you have collected your luggage, so you can meet your driver without any searching.
