Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Meeuwen-Gruitrode

The drive from Brussels Airport to Meeuwen-Gruitrode

The route covers 100 km (62 miles) and typically takes 1 h 7 m. Most of the journey is on motorway, heading east from Zaventem into the province of Limburg. This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other transfer. Traffic around Brussels and on the main motorways can slow things down on weekday mornings and late afternoons, so it is sensible to add a buffer if you have a tight appointment or a connecting commitment at the other end.

Choosing the right vehicle

Smaller parties are well served by a private taxi, with one option for up to 3 passengers and another for up to 4. If you are travelling with a larger family or extra luggage, the 8-seat minibus gives you more space to spread out. For wedding parties, sports teams, company groups or other larger gatherings, minibuses with 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats are available, so everyone can travel together in a single vehicle. Pick the size that matches your group and your luggage rather than just the number of heads.

Meeting point at Brussels Zaventem Airport

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage, so you can head there straight away.
