Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Meerlaar

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Meerlaar

The route covers 81 km (51 miles) and usually takes about 53 minutes by road. That is a comfortable transfer after a flight, with no need to work out connections or carry luggage between platforms. Meerlaar is not one of our most frequently booked destinations, but the transfer is available on request just like any other route. Traffic around Brussels is the main variable. On weekday mornings and late afternoons the ring road and the main motorways can be busy, so it is sensible to allow extra time if you have a fixed appointment or a tight connection on the way back to the airport.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

Pick the vehicle by group size and luggage rather than by passenger count alone.

• Private Taxi (1-3 or 1-4 passengers): suits solo travellers, couples, small families and colleagues travelling together.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats: a good fit for larger families or friends with several suitcases.
• Private Minibus 16 and 24 Seats: practical for teams, clubs and mid-sized tour groups.
• Private Minibus 32, 40 and 48 Seats: intended for large groups, events and organised trips that need to travel together in one vehicle.

If you are travelling with sports equipment, prams or oversized bags, choose the next size up so everyone rides comfortably.

About Meerlaar

Meerlaar is a small place in Belgium, and a private transfer is often the simplest way to reach it from the airport. Because it is a quiet destination, it helps to have the full address of your accommodation or meeting spot ready when you book, so the driver can take you to the exact door rather than the nearest village centre.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House inside Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU), holding a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage, so you can head there directly and meet your driver without delay.
