Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Meeffe

The drive from Brussels Airport to Meeffe

Meeffe lies 67 km (42 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the drive normally takes around 49 minutes. The route heads east into the province of Limburg, mostly on motorway before switching to smaller country roads for the last stretch. Meeffe is not a frequently booked destination, but the transfer is available on request just like any other route.

Morning and late-afternoon rush hours around Brussels and Leuven can slow the first part of the trip, so allow some extra time if you have a tight connection or an appointment at the other end. Bad weather can have the same effect, especially in winter.

Choosing the right vehicle

Solo travellers, couples and small families are usually well served by a Private Taxi, available for 1-3 or 1-4 passengers. Choose the larger option if your group has several suitcases or a child seat to fit in.

For bigger parties, there are private minibuses in several sizes:

• 8 seats for larger families or small groups with luggage
• 16 and 24 seats for business teams, wedding guests or club trips
• 32, 40 and 48 seats for large tour groups and organised events

Pick the vehicle by the number of passengers and the amount of luggage, not just the headcount.

About Meeffe

Meeffe is a small, quiet village in the province of Limburg and part of the municipality of Wellen. The surrounding area is rural and flat, with fields and orchards typical of this part of Belgium. Expect a calm setting rather than a busy tourist centre, so it helps to have your exact address ready for the driver, especially if it sits on a minor lane.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage and walked into the arrivals area. If you cannot see the sign straight away, stay near the coffee house and the driver will find you.
