Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Maurage

The drive from Brussels Airport to Maurage

Maurage lies 68 km (43 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the typical driving time is 51 minutes. The route is booked less often than the big city transfers, but it works the same way: you reserve in advance and a private driver takes you straight to your address. Allow extra time during the morning and evening rush hours around Brussels, when the ring road is at its slowest. Bad weather can also add a few minutes. If you have a fixed appointment on arrival, plan a small buffer.

Which vehicle suits your group

For solo travellers, couples and small families, a private taxi is the simplest choice. It is available for up to 3 or up to 4 passengers, so pick the larger one if you carry a lot of luggage. Larger parties can book a private minibus with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. This suits wedding guests, company teams, sports clubs and family gatherings who want to arrive together rather than split across several cars. Count your bags as well as your passengers when choosing.

Most visitors come to see family, to attend a local event or for business in the surrounding towns.
