Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Maspelt

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Maspelt

The transfer covers 174 km (109 miles) and typically takes 1 h 50 m. The route leads east from Zaventem towards the German-speaking part of Belgium. This is a longer journey than most airport runs, so your driver will take the most sensible road for the time of day. Allow extra time if you travel during the morning or evening rush around Brussels, or in winter, when conditions in the eastern uplands can slow traffic.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

Maspelt is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other. Couples and small families can choose a private taxi for 1-3 or 1-4 passengers. For larger parties, a private minibus with 8 or 16 seats suits family gatherings and small groups. Bigger groups can book a minibus with 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats, so everyone travels together in one vehicle. Choose a vehicle with some spare room if you carry a lot of luggage, as the ride is nearly two hours.
