Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Marke

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House in Brussels Zaventem Airport, holding a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you have collected your luggage, so you can meet without searching through the terminal.

The Drive from Brussels Zaventem to Marke

The route covers 706 km (439 miles) and typically takes 7 h 13 m by road. That is a full day's journey rather than a short hop, so it helps to plan the trip with some margin. Traffic around Brussels at peak commuting hours, roadworks and weather can all stretch the schedule, and it is sensible to allow extra time if you have a connection, an appointment or a check-in slot at the other end.

On a drive this long, a comfort break is worth building in. Tell your driver if you would like a stop along the way, especially when travelling with children or older passengers. This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other, so it is best to book in advance and give your arrival details clearly.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

Seven hours is a long time to share a vehicle, so space matters. The options are:

• Private Taxi (1-3 passengers) for solo travellers, couples or small families with luggage
• Private Taxi (1-4 passengers) for a slightly larger party
• Private Minibus 8 Seats and 16 Seats for family gatherings, friends or small teams
• Private Minibus 24, 32, 40 and 48 Seats for larger groups, events and organised tours

If you carry a lot of luggage, consider stepping up one size so that everyone can sit comfortably for the whole journey.

About Marke

Marke is a small place in Belgium rather than a major tourist hub, so onward public connections from the airport can be awkward to piece together at the end of a long day. A private transfer takes you from the airport directly to your destination in a single journey, with no changes and no luggage to carry between platforms or stops.
